INTERNSHIP
Programming – Events: assist in the development, planning, marketing and execution of existing and new events and activities presented by Backbeat throughout the year. (i.e. Backbeat Jazzfest Series, Rhythmic Roots: Community Music Project, Mardi Gras Funkstravaganza, and Garden Party)
Resource Development
Market Research for Cultural Tourism in New Orleans and other potential markets for our programming.
Expanding advertising mediums (internet, print, video, database building, etc.)
Foundation Growth
Membership Program
Grant and funding Opportunities
Marketing and promotion campaigns
MISSION: The Backbeat Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt Louisiana non-profit corporation whose mission is to foster support of the rich New Orleans cultural heritage through the presentation of innovative cultural arts and music programming and community based events and projects.
